My son Robby Russell is 13 and shoots only your "AA extra Lite" loads 12 guage #8 at trap. He insists that no other will do. You have really sold him on this load. He shot his first 25 Saturday 4/22/00 at the Redlands California trap range, He also won 2 d place in the "C" division. They did not have any 25 patches. If you could send him one he would really appreciate it. He has been shooting since he turned 11 and is getting quite good. We are going to sign him up for ATA juniors in the next couple of onths. You can mail the patch to: Robbie Russell 22705 Rio Bueno Ct. Valencia, Calif. 91354 PS It is getting harder and harder to find the extra lites here, can you give me some info on local dealers that handle the extra lites. Thanks again. Alvin Russell

Your information on various shotshells sold in the US is very interesting. We have a US patent (and other world patents) on a new tungsten/polymer material with the same specific gravity as lead - so shot made from it has identical sizes as for lead for t e same weight. It is kind to the rifle barrel and has good range and energy transfer to the target.

Nice page, Brad! Pictures, info., links... What more could I ask for? I live in Brookings, SD, and also love to hunt birds more than anything else, even more than catching walleyes. My motto - if it flies, it dies. If I didn't want to graduate, my lif would be much more exciting this fall, as would the lives of many roosters, ducks, and geese. Hope you forego studying enough to get out and shoot something (or at least try), lest your sanity vanish. Hunt hard! -Brent

Very helpful, Can you help solve a political debate. The question being: 20 GA steel loads V/S 12 Ga Steel and 10 Ga Steel. I would like to know if you have figures that would demonstrate 1. Pellets on Target @ 30, 45, 60 yards 2. Velocity of pellets on impact Given the following: Modified or Imroved Cylinder Choke, but must be the same. Maximum powder charge for each load that is available from the Major Mfgs, Remington, Winchester, Federal. We want to compare the 20 GA killing potential against the 12GA and the 10 Ga on Canada Geese. The argument being that a 20 3" load shooting steel six's is an effective means to put sufficient pellets on target at those ranges to kill. Please use BBB's 3" loads on the 12 GA and "T's" in 3 1/2" on the 10 GA. Your recommendation, although not necessary is appreciated. Should you find the loads, unsatisfactory for effective, conservation minded harvesting of the Canada Goose please say so. You might also list 20 GA 2's in your analysis. Thanks in advance for your help

Went to Gander Mtn for big sale and was amazed at th different variations on the market. Felt like I was buying a cold medicine and read the ingredients. ... and oh, one more thing, you have some mighty fine-looking women on there. I've never watched Friends, but I agree with you on Jennifer Aniston being one of the sexiest women alive, even though she tends to take the side of the anti-gun Hollyweed crowd. Paula Zahn of CNN, and a lot of the women on Fox news are also pretty damn good-looking!

For patterning, I use brown rosin paper from local building supply. Its heavy, 120 lbs., only 36" wide, but its about $10/roll, and yields 36 3'X4' targets. You can get 50 lb. kraft paper from Viking Office Product, 4 foot wide, 720' long roll for $68 delivered. Yields 180 4'X4' targets. Both about 36C for each target.

By the way, I do enjoy hunting alot, I se eyou hunt deer as well. I have a 2.5 year old black female lab that I havent had the chance to put her on ducks yet or geese at that. She's an excellent retriever and i did take her dove hunting and she didnt loose a bird at all. Maybe sometime we can swap a hunt out if you would like. Deer hunt for duck or goose hunt. I have 3 places to hunt one in huntington tx (near lufkin) one in san angelo, tx and one in hamilton tx. let me know if you might be interested. by the way I do like your web page. thanks, brandy

My son is doing a Science Fair Project for school. His project hypothesis is which shotshell, Remington, Winchester, or Federal, will hold the tightest pattern when shot at 20 yards from a 20 guage shot gun. We used your site extensively. It is very easy to follow and is helping us so much! Thanks...Rhonda
