Some friends and I went to New Orleans for Mardi Gras on the weekend of the 22nd.  Talk about a wild weekend.... I been to some big parties but nothing like Mardi Gras.  Some tips for those of y'all who haven't been to pick-pocket areas (Mexico City for me):

• Put everything important in your front pockets
• Wear tight pants/jeans
• Untuck your shirt and leave it hanging over your pockets
• If you don't need your I.D. don't bring it
• If you need your wallet wrap it in a rubber band
