How did you fare out yesterday Ed? Boat still running bad. Got a cracked coil. Couldn't fix it Sat. so I didn't go Sunday. Will have new coils Friday installed. Give it another run. Managed one Gadwal Saturday. Birds were flaring off of dekes. Pulled Spinner and the motor was really running bad so picked up and went in. Did for the first time get ducks to respond to calling though which was sweet. Had a bout 50 ducks rafting in the middle of lake and couldn't contend with em.

Psycho...
We managed 4 woodies Sat but we were set up wrong. Woodies kept buzzing us going into a hole in the woods. Went up the slough after the hunt and jumped about 100 woodies. Set up in that spot Sunday morning only to find that the birds moved out with the full moon. Shot 4 more. I never pulled the trigger. Was kinda stuck in a bad spot. Dane shot a great mountable woodie. Only saw a few big ducks. They still have yet to find the area I guess. Maybe this weekend. We'll see.
