not bad but didn't care too much for it. about 2 1/2 hours. didn't seem to have as much storyline or music as "Ray".

I liked it. Yes, it was a bit long, and the trash talking about Elvis was freakin hilarious.

I really liked the music. I bet it will get a few Academy award nominations.

watched it on the plane up here. pretty good. I really liked Reese Witherspoon as June Carter. Ginnifer Goodwin was really good! The only thing I remember her from was the fat chick from mona lisas smile. i haven't seen ray but it doesn't seem to be an oscar type film. I'm a Johnny Cash fan and was glad to have seen it but i don't feel the story is oscroy worthy. the acting by a few sure, but not the moive. oh Robert Patrick (T1000 from T2) was good as the father.

how cool would of it to have seen johnny cash, elvis, jerry lee, and carl perkins all in one night?

While it is not up for best picture, isn't it up for several other awards?

By the way, Brokeback Mountain is up for best picture.

saw walk the line last night, not near as good as i was expecting. however, i do think that phoenix guy who played him is a hellofan actor.
